Wing Ex 2010
2366 maintained their position as one of the top squadrons in North Buckinghamshire at the annual Wing Field Exercise held at Longmoor in Hampshire. Building on their success the previous weekend at the athletics, the team led by Flight Sergeant Elliot Waters competed against units from across the Hertforshire and Buckinghamshire area in various military skills including shooting, navigation, and command tasks culminating in an obstacle course this May Day bank holiday.
Lying fourth on entering the final day of the three day competition, the team needed to break the squadron record time of 3 minutes 23 seconds to climb into third spot, but an unfortunate accident on the obstacle course wall meant they incurred a 2 minute penalty, finishing with a time of 5 minutes 31 seconds. however the team remained in bouyant spirit.
Junior Men Athletics Success for 2366
The Wing Junior Men Athletics Trophy returned to Bletchley Park Squadron for the second time in three years. A blistering performance by the units Junior Mens team at the Wing Athletics meet at Jarman Park, Hemel Hempsted, on the 25 April saw Dom Moore, Marcin Michalowski, Dean Williams, and Arron Moore win four gold, one silver and one bronze to take the title. They also won the mens relay event which had eluded them on previous years.
The overall team finished 4th from the 30 teams competing after fine performances across the board from both the junior female and junior males teams. Well done 2366 !
Its "Snow Joke" at 2366 !
The Squadron made the most of the snow when the cadets returned to duty this wednesday. Apart from the healthy amount of snow used to make snow balls aimed at the staff, the cadets completed a eskimo style Igloo using the soft white stuff. Pictured opposite are Cadet Flight Sergeant Elliot Waters and Cadet Joe Harrison about to place the final row of bricks in the shelter big enough to hold two cadets comfortably.

Weather Closes Bletchley Park - January 2010
2366 has had a slow start to the new year following the recent inclement weather. Unfortunately Bletchley Park closed to the public due to the road conditions and safety concerns both on site and in the central Bletchley area.
With up to a foot of laying snow within the park access is very limited and the regretable decision to close the squadron was taken by the squadron commanding officer on Wednesday 6th January. The snow was cleared from the surronding area of the squadron by CI Douglas and the CO, on Tuesday 12th allowing the Squadron to re-open on the Wednesday as normal..
